Food and Film Festival
This project was launched in 2001 as a dinner dedicated to Oscar winning director Federico Fellini. Professor Peter Bondanella, the world’s leading expert on Fellini, entertained the audience with personal anecdotes of the director, while elite chefs from Sydney’s finest Italian restaurants created an Italian feast. In 2003, the festival was held in Burwood as a 4-day event with a dinner launch and 3 films at Greater Union Cinemas. The Centre intends to develop the festival as a yearly event with the possibility of organising it in other places within Australia
